Designed to be held with the pad between your thumb and index finger (and the index finger pointing down the shaft), this style allows longer cutting sessions without wearing out your hands and wrists. Great for people who can’t use pencil-style cutters because of arthritis. Even folks without arthritis will find this cutter a dream to work with. This is the cutter that we do a lot of our cutting with, and wouldn’t be without it! This great cutter features a sealed oil reservoir with a brass plug that unscrews for easy filling. Includes a plastic dropper for easily filling with oil. Clear plastic reservoir lets you check your oil level at a glance, and the carbide cutting wheel is super long-lasting. The head swivels slightly by default, but if you prefer a fixed cutting head, you can remove the set screw on the cutting head, rotate the head 180 degrees, and tighten the screw to lock it in place. The handle can be adjusted to 4 different positions to accommodate large or small hands. The 4 positions are set by unscrewing the top and flipping the side handle to either the top or bottom, and the spacer ring can be positioned at the top of the handle or the bottom. Includes instructions for use and adjustment. This is the newer model from Toyo with the wider saddle, for increased comfort. This cutter is available in one of the following bright colors: red, green, yellow, purple, orange, or blue. This wheel has tiny internal gears that produce a light ticking sound when the glass is scored.
