Use & Care: • Do not wash the batik in warm or hot water. Wash the fabric with cold water and separately from other items, as you may get dye bleeds in the first few washes. • It’s strongly advised to wash the fabric by hand, but you may also simply wipe it with a cloth. • Avoid washing the fabric in a machine and do not use strong detergent, bleach, or color brighteners. • Dry the batik gently without twisting it too much. It might cause the fabric to distort. • To preserve the depth of the color, hang the batik inside-out to dry in the shade as opposed to drying it directly in the sun. • Use another piece of fabric as a basis to softly iron the batik if there are significant wrinkles. • Do not use perfume or cologne directly on the batik.
