USA SHIPPING INCLUDEDThis CA Activator/PRIMER #3770 has been specially designed for using CA to bond plastic parts, including 3D-printed parts and other plastics such as Styrene, PVC, ABS, and other hard plastics.Plastics are difficult to bond with CA. Using the special primer is the answer. The primer helps the CA to form a superior bond. Use it as a cleaner first, then apply and let it dry before using the CA. THIS SALE INCLUDES: One 2 fluid ounce bottle of “Plastic Primer” with swabs and a spray head (the sprayer will typically break down and stop working) Note: this product is now being packed in a GLASS bottle, not pictured.In my other listings, I offer a water-thin viscosity PR CA which will wick right into cracks and tight-fitting parts and dries relatively quickly (within seconds), and a thick viscosity PR CA which is better for gap-filling and takes much longer to dry. (PR CA is especially good with plastics and rubber.) In order to obtain the best results with this glue:Clean the parts with rubbing alcohol – the parts must be dry, and completely free from skin oils or mold release agent. The parts must fit together tightly – little or no gap.Apply the primer to both surfaces, allow a few minutes to dry. Repeat!Apply the CA adhesive sparingly, in a thin layer, then press parts together very tightly for several seconds. Allow 24 hours for a full cure to obtain the maximum bond strength before putting the item into use. NOTE: The primer and the CA are NOT foam-safe!! Don’t use them on soft foam.
